Donna is No.1 in NZ in Doubles and in Mixed Doubles and is in the top 40 in the world in both.   One of the most athletic and strongest girls in NZ she continues to develop her play internationally.  In 2009 she won the NZ Badminton player of the year award after a great year that saw her win the Cyprus International Mixed Doubles Title and rocket up the world rankings with some great wins over much higher ranked opponents in both doubles and mixed.

Although still relatively young she has a lot of international experience. In 2007 she was one of only a few NZ players who qualified for the World Championships in Malaysia and in 2008 played in the Uber Cup World Team Finals in Jakarta.

One of the physically strongest players in NZ she been involved in some great successes including the Whyte Trophy Defeat by NZ of Australia in 2007 and 2009. With her best badminton ahead of her she has her sights set on both future Olympics and Commonwealth Games success.

Junior Profile: As well as that she runs holiday programs and junior club programs as well as coaching our top junior reps.   That's why we like to call her the pied piper of Auckland Badminton as she generates huge enthusiasm for the game in young players from 5 to 19.

Donna also has a strong Maori heritage and is used to appearing in the media.
