The All
Stars Premier Badminton Club is a "performance club" with a huge amount of
enthusiasm and commitment. This has been functioning informally for few
years and formalised its operation as All Stars Badminton Club in 2009.
Although new it has been founded by players with experience in the game
and they are growing rapidly. The club primarily caters for the A, B
graders and players who represent the club in interclub tournaments and
represent Associations. However upcoming young players with sufficient
ability, committed to play in competitive tournaments or older players
wanting to play serious and hard games and play senior interclub or
Association tournaments are welcome.
Games are
strictly organised according to the levels of players, using BCMS
computerised software. Prior to attending the club its best to contact the
club officials to make sure that you will fit into the very competitive
and friendly environment of the club sessions. Most members join interclub
teams or rep teams of Auckland via the club and regularly play competitive
games. All
Stars Premier is Committed to develop and support the high performance
players and support them in every way including financial assistance and
subsidies to play tournaments. The All Stars premier club is part of a
network of All Stars Badminton club in the Auckland area.
The Venus is (except for Central All
Stars which will stay at Portage Rd in New Lynn) - at brand new courts at
the NZ Badminton Centre at 443, East Tamaki Road, Dannemora on in early
August. This is a new 9 court facility with casual hall hire and brand
new green court mats. It is 8 minutes from Howick, Mt Wellington,
southern motorway exits Manukau, East Tamaki.
In August -
December 2011 there will also be a half year Special membership rates will
be available to new All Stars members soon. Membership will be taken from
July 2011.
