The All Stars Howick
Badminton Club is a brand new club with a huge amount of enthusiasm and
commitment. Although new it has been founded by players with experience
in the game and they are growing rapidly.
It caters
primarily for Seniors of all grades and levels, though there is no
restriction for junior members to play. Ideally suits for working people,
players who want to play late nights as the actual scheduled games start
from 9PM and finishes at 10.30PM.
Whether you are a top
player or someone wanting to learn the game, feel free to come to the club
and enjoy. Our friendly bunch of players will help you learn, develop,
improve and excel. Members are able to join interclub teams or rep teams
of Auckland via the club.
The venue
(except for Central All Stars which will stay at Portage Rd in New Lynn) -
is the brand new courts at the NZ Badminton Centre at 443, East Tamaki
Road, Dannemora on in early August. This is a new 9 court facility
with casual hall hire and brand new green court mats. It is 8
minutes from Howick, Mt Wellington, southern motorway exits Manukau, East
Tamaki.
All Stars is Committed
to both providing good competition and a friendly social environment the
club is part of a network of All Stars club in the Auckland area.
In August -
December 2011 there will also be a half year Special membership rates will
be available to new All Stars members soon. Membership will be taken from
July 2011.
