Background:

Clare consistently performs at a very high level and has had a consistent run of success at age group level through and has represented NZ at the U19 Pan Pacific Tournaments and Youth Olympics. 

Clare was also one of only a handful of players selected for a special and intensive training squad in Korea in 2006.  

In 2007 she was one of only a few of players selected for the Junior World Championships which were held in NZ in late October.

Clare at 19 has already had alot of experience.  Playing in tournaments such as the Junior World Championships she has gained alot of exposure on the local circuit.
