A Tribute to Allan Murphy

Allan passed away on Jan 8th of this year after a heart attack.  Below is a letter from the Lloyd Elsmore Club - thanks to Dev for his permission to post a copy of that letter here.  There is also an tribute to Allan on the Lloyd Elsmore site http://www.lloydelsmorebadminton.co.nz/ .

To me Allan Murphy was one of those people that was a very honest and loyal person who worked hard for what he believed in.  He always was very humble about his abilities but always had time for others and more to offer than he believed. I always found him to be full of common sense and always available to discuss anything.  Both the Lloyd Elsmore Club and the Auckland Badminton Community have lost a very valuable person and a good man.
