Welcome To Auckland Masters, Vets
and Super Vets
The Masters
Vets and Super Vets Representative Programme
Masters Vets and Super Vets is one of the fastest growing
areas in the sport of badminton which is a testimony to the health and
fitness of our senior players. Auckland
Masters Badminton promotes the "Kiwi Culture" of "Sport for Life".
Teams compete against other Associations and the competition is run by
Badminton NZ and coordinated nationwide. It is both social and
highly competitive with a range of levels and grades
Masters is
a very social and interactive environment and this year
there is more reason to get involved as we celebrate some
fantastic history and achievements over the past 50 years on
the Anniversary of the Auckland Badminton Hall. In
addition there are some great tournaments kicking off with
the Auckland Masters on the 28th of August. We also
are very talented with some top players that have excelled
at international level (see
the World Masters results in 2009)

World Masters last year in 2009
Auckland Masters - August
28th - a great event that is both social and competitive and good
practice for the NZ Masters later in the year.
50th Anniversary. - Sept 10th and 11th -
celebrations include a re union dinner
(Sept 11th) with some fun events taking us back to when Auckland
included sub associations who are now associations in their own
right.
NZ
Masters Championships - October 14th to 17th is the final big
event for the year. No matter what your level this event has
something for you and like the Auckland Masters is a great way to
both have a great time and have good competition at your level.
