Something To Suit You Our 12 court stadium is available for public hire 7 days a week all year round. We also have over 20 senior clubs and 10 junior clubs (all junior clubs have coaches) that you can join for as little as a few dollars per week that includes court hire and shuttles. Feel free to visit first and Catch A Club Today
If you are competitive then join our club interclub competition or you may also be able to play reps for Auckland if you a are a club member at junior, senior and masters levels.

History 2010 is the 50th Anniversary of our Badminton Stadium at 99 Gillies Avenue and also the 80th Anniversary of the Association. Auckland Badminton (also known as the ABA) has a proud history with volunteers, coaches, parents and managers committed to this great sport that continues today. Added to that are players ranging from beginners to those that in the past have climbed to rank as high as 6th in the world. Our history is filled with amazing players including Jeff Robson, Heather Robson and Richard Purser and others who have represented Auckland with distinction on a number of levels.

Learn From Our Top Players and Coaches We can help you take the next step at whatever age or level you are as a player. We have an extensive coaching program in schools and after schools and clubs that caters to every level. Our rep coaches have an exceptional record and our Coaching Manager Donna Haliday is a top NZ athlete going to the Commonwealth Games. Add in Rhona Robertson a former world top 12 player, and Li Feng - former Chinese National Squad member and one of the best players and technical coaches we have seen in NZ and we have alot to offer any player. Feng is also starting a new academy for talented youngsters in partnership with Auckland Badminton.
