ACTIVE COACHING DATABASE
Auckland Badminton is putting together an Active Coaching Database for players to contact top coaches in Auckland for coaching.  All levels of players are invited to contact our coaches and have individual training.  Costs start from $40 per hour.

BADMINTON IN SCHOOLS
A Badminton coach  will come to your school and bring with her all the equipment required, racquets and shuttles. The classes are of high quality and the coach ensures full participation for the whole class plus lots of fun.

Kiwi badminton - Primary/Intermediate/Secondary

Costs:
Full day 9am-3pm $125+gst (6-7 classes)

SECONDARY SCHOOLS
We can provide a more comprehensive lesson and will cater to the schools needs, Kiwi Leadership, Bursary PE or Rep Teams. For more information please click here

AFTER SCHOOL BADMINTON ("JUST SMASH IT" PROGRAM)

COACHING COURSES
A Level One course is scheduled for early next season.  Badminton NZ will be hosting a Level 2 Coaching Course during the season, dates will be available soon.  Auckland Badminton Association also runs an Introductory Coaching course as a pre-requisite to Level 1.  These courses can be booked through your club as any stage, a minimum of four coaches is required to run the course.

INTRODUCTORY COACH
This is a 6 hour course that is lots of fun.
Outcomes of the course are:
  Know more about basic hitting techniquesHave some knowledge about how to coach basic techniques
  Have new ideas about team games and fun games for club sessions and training
  Understand serving and receiving positions in match play

Auckland Badminton has made this course a prerequisite to Level 1, so you must complete the Club Coach Course before you can do your Level 1.

LEVEL 1
Next Level 1: to be advised.   

This is a 16 hour course over 2 days, there is approximately a month between each day. Next course to be confirmed.
Outcomes of this course are:
  Teach basic strokes and footwork
  Take sessions with beginning and junior players
  Take Kiwi badminton sessions
  Hand-feed basic routines
  Understand simple tactics in singles and doubles
